This is happiness. It's going to the beach wearing dresses, wedges, and summer hats. It's eating lunch at a retro diner that overlooks the ocean. It's golden sunlight and noontime picnics. It's watching A Streetcar Named Desire, Lolita, and foreign films while eating salads. As I devour poetry books and drink too much Diet Coke, I cannot help but feel exhilarated and satisfied with the present day. Summer is drawing near. I can feel his presence as he kisses my pale skin with his golden lips. Images of the sea and of faraway places haunt my waking mind. Come quickly, your absence is driving me mad with desire for those languid afternoons.

Cherry - It's a light leak! All I do is open the back of my film camera and expose the film to sunlight. You can't really predict how it will turn out, but that's what's so cool about it :)
