My Fingers Crawl Like Spiders

Why doesn't it feel like Halloween? For some reason, last year felt so much different. There's only one person on my street who has halloween decorations up (aside from me). It just seems like no one gets into the spirit anymore.. :(

Anyway! I want to wish all my blog readers a happy Halloween! I'm going to go trick or treating (ahem, you're never too old) with two good friends and then watching scary movies all night. What are your plans?

I Am Your Worst Nightmare

o today, I got my halloween costume :D Well, the dress at least. What am I being you may ask? Well, I was forced to be unoriginal and not make my costume so I'm being a cat. I'll post pictures of my finds later {I bought some other things too}.

I Live in Fear

I can't contain my excitement for Saturday! I'm going to Knotts Scary Farm :D

For all of those who don't live in Southern California {hopefully you've heard of Knotts Berry Farm}, it's one of those halloween events that amusement parks always put on. This will be my third year in a row and I'm going with my amazing friend Janae. I can't wait!!!

Perhaps I'm just odd, but I LOVE it there. Honestly, I could live there. How sad.. I plan to work there someday!

I saw this girl {below} two years ago; she was simply fantastic! Words cannot describe her talent. You'd had to have expierenced it in person.

Stuck

I went to the halloween store today and I fell in love with the most lovely costume!

Sadly it's pricetag marked 80 bucks. It tore my heart apart. I JUST LOVE IT! Okay, yeh, I realize it's protrayed in a "slutty" way but I'm pretty sure it's just the model. See if I wore it, it would be a different story.

Now I don't know what to do. I think I'll have to make my costume yet I don't know what I'm going to be. This irritates me. I need to think, I need to be inspired. Any ideas?

Dreaming Out Loud

I've gotten through my first day of school! I'm exhausted. Now its the weekend, and I'm taking every moment I get to do something fun with my friends. Today? I'm going to try to put my halloween costume together so my friend Janae & I are going to take a little visit to the halloween store ;D.

The Bat's Mouth

My first day of school was lovely! I didn't get lost {okay I had to ask for directions once}, I like my teachers so far, and I got to see some friends I didn't get to see over the summer. But I was reminded that I hate a lot kids my age, oh my god, and that math is the worst class ever. But on the bright side, I'm moving forward with my life. This whole highschool thing seems kind of surreal! It's just hard to grasp I'm a freshman! Now enough school talk, it's kind of depressing. Let's talk about a more suitable subject, like halloween! Tehe!

I know I just did a post on it but I'm sorry, when I said I was obsessed, I meant it. So the question that has still remained unanswered is: what am I going to be? I have some ideas but I really need to make a decision because if I make my costume I won't have much time.

Here are my ideas so far:

- Evil Nurse {as in a nurse from Emilie Autumn's Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls}; pretty sure no ones going to get that but whatever.

Moon and Moon

Tomorrow is my first day of school; the first day of my Freshman year. Am I excited? Sort of. The transition is just odd, I'm used to staying up late, sleeping in, laying around the house all day, hanging out with friends everyday. Summer is carefree but then school rolls in and suddenly BAM structure. Waking up early, late nights trying to finish homework. But on the bright side, its my first year of highschool! I'm starting a new chapter in my book of life! Yes I will miss those summer days, but I hope to meet great new people, learn a lot , and discover who I really am.

So I'm pushing the airy dresses back into the depths of my closet and bringing forth my warm, cozy clothes that will keep me warm through the winter months {it doesn't get that cold here though, I dearly wish it snowed}. I can't even listen to Katie Herzig without feeling the sadness that summer is coming to an end.

Enough of my complaining though, lets talk about the greatest holiday ever, HALLOWEEN!

Yes, this holiday could be considered cheesy and childish but I'm sorry; I just love it. I love the hype, the costumes, makeup, those cheesy halloween movies {Hocus Pocus!}, and the free candy. I mean come on, who DOESN'T want free candy? Although I'm ashamed to say I don't know what I want to be this year {which is odd considering I usually have it figured out a year in advance}.

This holiday is an excuse to eat enourmously huge servings of candy and dress up in whatever you please. If I had a choice, I wish everyday could be Halloween!

I know its only one night {one would think all this anticipation would be unnescessary for one night} but I'm sorry, I just think everything about this holiday is perfect & everything is SO worth it!
